A propos de l'exposition:

Les élèves du Lycée Français de San Francisco ont travaillé sur des projets en relation avec l'architecture.

Les 4èmes ont étudié la relation entre forme et fonction et ont créé des dessins mélangeant sculpture et architecture; tandis que les 3èmes ont réfléchi à l'intégration de projets architecturaux à des collages représentant des environnements naturels. Ils ont appris à représenter le volume et la profondeur de champ dans une production en deux dimensions ainsi qu'à créer une harmonisation entre architecture et paysage.

Quelques travaux d'élèves d'autres niveaux sont également inclus.

About the exhibition:

Students from the Lycée Français de San Francisco have been working on projects related to architecture.

The 8th graders have studied the relationship between shape and function and have created drawings that mix architecture and sculpture, while the 9th graders reflected upon the integration of architectural projects into a natural environment made as a collage. They learned to represent volume and depth of field in 2 dimensional works as well as to manage the harmonization of architecture and landscape.

Few works by students from other grades are also included.

LFSF Students Networking at Startup Grind Conference

The two teams who won first and second place in the Startup Lycée competition just spent the last 2 days networking with Silicon Valley entrepreneurs at the Startup Grind conference. 6 students from Grade 11 had the opportunity to learn about the Silicon Valley startup culture, how Venture Capital firms choose their startups, and how to network!
